This month on “Meet the Locals” we caught up with Brooke McPherson, the owner of Something Special Homewares and Gifts. Something Special, has been apart of the Goulburn retail experience since the early 1990’s. Over this time it’s had a number of owners each and everyone stamping it with their own unique style and flare. Brooke has owned Something Special for two years now and stocks everything from homewares to apparel, jewelry and toys.
Brooke specializes in providing a tailor-made customer service experience that is warm and friendly. The range of items on offer is everchanging and the store is a visual feast.
In recent times, Brooke has adapted her traditional storefront business model to cope with the restrictions in place in light of the COVID-19 event. Brooke promotes her wares primarily through social media and offers phone orders and contactless delivery for those in isolation.
