To the First National team Goulburn, Thank you for the personal and professional service I received during my purchase of 76 Joshua Street, Goulburn. I would like to particularly thank and praise Jarrod. I found him to be honest, respectful and thoughtful of my needs and wants, also taking into consideration my financial capabilities. Not once did I feel pressured to look at a home beyond my needs and budget. Jarrod was also particularly patient with my frustrations, as finding the right home is not an easy process. He reassured me that the right house within my price range would come along and it did. Two weeks after I last inspected a house through First National, I was contacted to look at a house not yet listed on the market. I am grateful that Jarrod thought of me as a priority buyer as I loved it instantly. With a big smile I commented “You did well”. I have been looking for a home for myself and children for a while and have personally introduced myself to other real estate agents in the area. What I noticed as a consumer was the difference in communication styles. Some agents I encountered, exclaimed that they did not have any properties listed in my price range and just took my name and number. One occasion I was encouraged to exceed my financial budget and they did not seem interested in knowing I had a preapproval and deposit ready to go for purchase. As a customer this was discouraging, and didn’t return to that real estate. I have also researched realestate.com and Domain daily for a year (even when I was not financially ready to purchase). I feel I kept myself as updated as possible through the internet and social media, knowing what new properties were listed and sold in Goulburn. I was disheartened and annoyed by other real estate agents when they listed properties on the websites that were affordable and had not contacted me. Apart from First National, one other real estate contacted me on a few occasions, but was not consistent. I appreciated how First National maintained effective communication with weekly emails, text messages and phone calls. Overall, I found the staff to be genuine, caring and honest with the quality of homes and amount of renovation work required (as a single income earner this was important to me). This personal touch is a quality not to be taken for granted, so thank you for everything.
